Everything was perfect, well-trained staff, incredibly beautiful views over the beach. The room was exceptional and delightful, I appreciated it, and it had an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. My stay here was really good.

Incredibly beautiful accommodation, welcoming staff, unique location to a restaurant in a nearby town. Delicious and great breakfast with cooked portions and with lovely food available. Hot drinks at cafe bar, perfect service.

Totally recommend for a quick trip
Fine landscape, friendly staff. The beautiful gardens full of imported trees and ferns, and the convenient 24-hour reception ensured I had everything I needed.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The village features an artsy blend of styles with unique architecture and picturesque walkways. Easy access to nearby coastal and woodland walks, particularly charm during the bloom of rhododendrons and azaleas.
While the rooms have their charm, they lean towards the outdated side. For over £300 a night, I expected better than a room that felt mad really like a blast from the past. The small kitchen area left much to be desired, and the bath plug not holding water was a real inconvenience. Dining options were limited as we couldn't secure reservations on-site, forcing us to drive elsewhere instead.

Rooms in the castle: Huge room with a great view of the castle garden. Sofa area with kitchenette and refrigerator. Top equipment! Good restaurant with upscale cuisine. Comfortable beds. Portmeirion Village within walking distance. Access for hotel guests 24/7 and free admission! Free parking directly at the castle.
Water was dripping through the lights in the bathroom ceiling! Got a little scared in the shower, showered in the dark. That's one star less.

The whole hotel complex is impressive. A combination of English and Italian architectural style. The gardens are well laid out, the houses are colourfully painted and the location in the bay as a whole is very beautiful. All of this makes you overlook the partly predominant kitsch and the fake characters.
If you like the style and you are not hampered in walking (a few steps away from the apartments) then there is nothing to complain about.
